PLAYER RECRUIT
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Overview
PLAYER provides a subscription-based recruitment platform connecting clubs and agencies with football players. These terms constitute a binding agreement between the Member and PLAYER (“PLAYER”, “we”, “us”).
PLAYER is not an agency and does not represent players or participate in contractual negotiations.
2. Membership & Payment
• Monthly membership: £600
• Annual membership: £5,000
• Payment is taken upfront by card or invoice, as agreed at onboarding
Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy.
3. Cancellation Policy
• 60 days written notice required
• Access continues during the notice period
• No refunds for unused membership time
4. Platform Access
Members receive:
• Access to the player database
• Ability to post opportunities
• Direct communication and introductions to players
• Support from the PLAYER team
Access is granted per organisation and must not be shared externally.
5. No Agency Relationship
PLAYER:
• Does not represent players
• Does not negotiate contracts
• Does not receive commission on player deals
All recruitment decisions and agreements are made independently by Members.
6. Player Engagement
Members may:
• Contact players directly
• Request trials or offer contracts
• Engage players through introductions facilitated by PLAYER
PLAYER is not responsible for outcomes of these engagements.
7. Data Usage
Members agree:
• To use player data solely for football recruitment purposes
• Not to scrape, copy, export, or redistribute platform data
• Not to contact players for non-football-related purposes
8. Content & Footage
Player profiles may include:
• Highlight clips
• Full match footage (including 90-minute games)
PLAYER does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of content.
9. Conduct & Platform Integrity
Members agree to act in good faith and uphold the integrity of the PLAYER network.
Members must not:
• Attempt to poach players from other Members (including agency-represented players)
• Interfere with or undermine existing relationships between players and other Members
• Approach or engage players in a way that breaches existing contractual agreements
• Use the platform in a way that breaches league, federation, or regulatory rules
• Engage in any behaviour that could damage the reputation or trust of the platform
PLAYER reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes misconduct.
10. Enforcement & Termination
PLAYER may suspend or terminate access immediately, without refund, if:
• These terms are breached
• A Member is deemed to be acting in bad faith
• Conduct is considered harmful to players, other Members, or the platform
This includes (but is not limited to) breaches of the Conduct & Platform Integrity section.
11. Quality Disclaimer
While we curate the platform:
• PLAYER does not guarantee player performance or suitability
• Recruitment decisions remain the responsibility of the Member
12. Liability
PLAYER is not liable for:
• Recruitment outcomes
• Contracts or agreements between parties
• Financial or sporting results
• Any regulatory breaches committed by Members
13. Modifications
PLAYER may update features, pricing, or terms with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice. Continued use of the platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If a Member does not accept material changes to pricing, they may cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15. Data Protection
Both PLAYER and Members act as independent data controllers in respect of any personal data accessed through the platform. Members agree to:
• Process player personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
• Use personal data solely for football recruitment purposes, as set out in these terms
• Not retain personal data beyond the period reasonably necessary for recruitment activity
PLAYER’s own data practices are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
16. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including but not limited to the player database, search tools, design, software, and proprietary frameworks, remains the exclusive intellectual property of PLAYER. Members are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the platform solely for their own internal recruitment purposes. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to Members.
17. Complaints & Disputes
If a Member has a complaint or dispute, they should contact PLAYER in writing in the first instance. PLAYER will acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to resolve them within 20 business days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
