JAKE TABOR
No academy background. Just goals.
After back-to-back standout seasons with Amersham Town - including 76 goals and 26 assists in 23/24 and 51 goals and 14 assists in 24/25 - Jake joined PLAYER towards the end of the 24/25 campaign.
He featured in PLAYER Spotlight, with clips shared by co-founder Patrice Evra to increase exposure, before playing in a showcase fixture vs Tottenham Hotspur U21s.
PLAYER introduced Jake to an agent, leading to a trial at Swindon Town. He impressed under Ian Holloway and signed a two-year League Two contract.
He’s now gaining senior experience in the National League system.

SAK HASSAN
After recording 30 goal contributions for Hashtag United during the 2024/25 season, Sakariya Hassan was identified by PLAYER as a talent ready for the next level.
He joined the platform in December 2024, with his profile shared across National League clubs and showcased against elite opposition - including a standout display with two goals vs Tottenham Hotspur U21s.
Sak signed for Wealdstone ahead of the 2025/26 season and, by January 2026, had made 21 appearances with 7 goal contributions at National League level.

STANLEY LEECH
After a blistering start to the 2025/26 season - 25 goals and 8 assists in 27 games for Newmarket Town - Stanley Leech joined PLAYER in November as interest around him began to rise up the pyramid.
His profile was shared with National League clubs, leading to a trial at Sutton United. During that same period, Dagenham & Redbridge moved quickly, offering Stanley his first professional contract without a trial.
He made an instant impact - scoring 3 goals in his first 3 starts.

Former Queens Park Rangers academy player and Pakistan international, Harun Hamid used the PLAYER platform to take the next step in his career.

While playing for Tier 4 side London Seaward, Zahmena featured in a PLAYER showcase at West Ham.
Following her performance, PLAYER connected her with a sports management agency - leading to her first professional contract with Lakatamia FC in the Cypriot First Division.

Joshua Marcon
Former Peterborough United scholar Joshua Marcon recorded 29 goal contributions for Beaconsfield Town at Step 4 in 2024/25.
Despite his numbers, a move didn’t materialise that summer.
After joining PLAYER in 2025/26, his profile was shared with Hungerford Town - who were actively recruiting his profile type.
He signed and went straight into the starting XI the following day.

Jack Stone
After scoring 42 goals and 10 assists for Southend United U19s in 2024/25, Jack signed his first-team contract at National League level.
A loan spell at Grays Athletic followed, where he contributed 5 goals and 4 assists in 13 games.
Seeking a Step 3 platform, Jack joined PLAYER. His profile was shared with AFC Sudbury - who moved quickly to secure him on loan.

An academy graduate of AFC Sudbury, Jacob completed two seasons of Step 3 football before turning 19.
After winning Young Player of the Season in 24/25 and making 30 appearances in 25/26 by February, his PLAYER profile was shared with multiple EFL academies.
That led to a trial opportunity with Reading FC in February 2026.

Georgia Stevens
After previously playing Tier 3 football with Halifax and featuring for AFC Fylde Women, Coventry United Women and Loughborough Lightning - as well as top-flight spells abroad with Þór/KA and Vilaverdense FC - Georgia took a year away from the game during 2024/25.
During that period, she worked as PLAYER’s Women’s Community Manager while staying ready for her next opportunity.
Ahead of 25/26, she signed for Derby County Women in Tier 3.
